How we make money
We don't.
FinanceFitness has no revenue. There are no affiliate links, no sponsored content, no advertisements, no referral fees, and no financial relationships with any company mentioned on this site.
This matters because most financial content is funded by the financial products it recommends. A credit card comparison site that earns a referral fee when you apply for a card has an incentive to recommend the card that pays the highest fee, not the card that costs you the least. That conflict is usually disclosed in small print, but disclosure doesn't eliminate the incentive — it just names it.
The model here is closer to Consumer Reports: the recommendations are only credible if they're independent of the companies being recommended. So that's the constraint we operate under. Not as a policy that might change — as a structural commitment.
The picks on this site are chosen because they meet the stated criteria, not because anyone paid to be included. If a product stops meeting those criteria, it gets removed — with a changelog entry explaining why.
If you find an error, an outdated claim, or a conflict of interest we've missed, tell us through the contact form.
